Profile:
Our furniture consultants have upholstery and beds for the furniture industry being their main areas of expertise.
They are also proficient in cabinet and dining room furniture construction and materials as well as general furniture
safety protocols. We provide unbiased and impartial independent reports for consumers, retailers or manufacturers
that comply fully with the `Civil Procedure Rules` (Part 35) and ‘Criminal Procedure Rules (Part 33) as applicable
to Expert Witnesses for the instruction of experts to give evidence in claims.
Each has a proven track record in sales, product development, design and management. They are trained in all types
of upholstery, furniture, beds and materials as well as modern and traditional manufacturing techniques.
Furthermore each is up to date with the technical and legal requirements for furniture both domestic and
commercial as well as the Sales of Goods Act and consumer law.
Along with being fully conversant with upholstery techniques and bed construction they have extensive knowledge
and understanding of leather for upholstery. They are proficient in all areas from leather composition through to
tannery processes and finishes to leather selection and suitability for different environments. Where necessary
we work closely with British and Italian Testing houses on analysis and testing.
